Elements

Some people are stones. Grounded, assured, and Made of harder stuff.

Some are air rustling through the breeze. Fearless, playful, gently
Whispering “Be free.”

Some people are flame and smoke. Fiery, fierce, often a mystery, and Impossible to hold.

But some, like I, are ocean waters blue, Fighting to stay afloat.

Drowning in the depths of all we feel, see and do.

I can’t imagine the balls it takes to be a Russian anti-war protester right now. Good for them.

#i hope they’re being safe and careful

Right now, holding up a sign in St. Petersburg condemning this war is the textbook definition of “neither safe nor careful.”

But they’re proving to anybody in Russia who thought they were the only ones who opposed this war, that they’re not, and reminding the rest of the world that a government is not the people it claims to represent, and I am deeply moved by their courage.

At least one platoon of Russian military forces surrendered completely to Ukraine as soon as they found out their supposed “reconnaissance” mission was actually a combat operation.

Anti-war protesters in Russia are the ones helping these actual soldiers realize their orders are wrong and put down their weapons. Inspiring this recognition of the monstrousness of their actions.

Protestors aren’t just doing the right thing, they’re making a huge difference in the viability of this war.

They’re crumbling Russian military morale. Their actions are directly intervening, in a way that we as westerners can only be grateful for.

And they are taking huge personal risks in doing so.

Still thinking of a TikTok I saw a year ago where a girl with a shellfish allergy got a crab tattooed on her thigh with one of the claws exactly where her Epi Pen should be stabbed into her so she’d be able to wheeze out “stab the crab” if someone else needed to use her pen on her. Absolutely obsessed. The epitome of work smarter not harder.

just talked to a nesta anti today who said that nesta should be nice to feysand for saving her life after she ruined theirs.

how did nesta ruin their life???? i was honestly so confused when i read that bc if anything, nesta SAVED their lives by participating in killing the king of hybern. and how did feysand save nesta and give her life? if anything theyre the reason nesta was dragged into a war and turned into fae.

the way i laughed so hard 😂

Also when did they save her life. Everything that happened to her was because of them!!! Like she had every right to lash out. Now she’s emotionally scarred and traumatized. People acted like Nesta wanted to be high fae. She hated them but she still pulled her weight and helped them defeat hybern

arguing with antis who say that shit is bad for my mental health, pls

Feysand were not the problem. Ianthe was the cause of Nesta and Elain becoming fae. Don’t blame Feysand for that please, thanks.
